Who we are

IO Studio LLC (“IO Studio”, “we”, “us”) is an AI-native studio based in El Paso, Texas. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit io-studio.ai, contact us, or use our services. Questions: contact@io-studio.ai.

Information we collect

Contact details you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and phone number — when you fill out a form, book a call, message our assistant, or become a client.

Usage and measurement data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies — pages visited, referring source, links and buttons clicked, general device and browser information, approximate location at city level, and anonymised recordings of on-page activity such as mouse movement, clicks and scrolling. This is described in full under “Analytics and site measurement” below, and none of it is collected until you accept on our cookie banner.

Analytics and site measurement

We measure how this website is used so we can improve it. Two providers carry out that measurement for us. Google Analytics 4 counts visits and records the actions we care about — pages viewed, booking links clicked, forms and assistant conversations that become enquiries, and language switches. Microsoft Clarity produces heatmaps and anonymised session recordings that show where pages cause friction. Neither is used for advertising: we run no remarketing from this site, and Google Analytics advertising features and cross-device signals are switched off.

Session recordings capture how pages are used, not what you type. Form fields and the text you enter are masked before a recording leaves your browser.

These are the cookies involved and how long each one lasts. “_ga” and “_ga_” followed by our measurement id (Google Analytics, up to 2 years) tell one visitor apart from another and hold the current session. “_clck” (Microsoft Clarity, 1 year) and “_clsk” (Microsoft Clarity, 1 day) do the same for heatmaps and recordings. “io_consent” (12 months) stores nothing but your answer to our cookie banner, so that we stop asking.

None of this runs until you accept. On your first visit a banner asks for your choice; until you accept, analytics storage is switched off and no session recorder is loaded onto the page at all. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser — that removes the “io_consent” cookie and the banner returns, so you can choose again. Declining does not affect your ability to use this site, contact us, or book a call.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics in any browser with Google’s official opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Microsoft describes how Clarity handles data, and the choices available to you, in the Microsoft Privacy Statement at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

Our website assistant

The chat assistant on this site is an AI agent, not a person. What you write to it — and what you send through our forms — is treated as an enquiry: it is processed by the service providers who host this site, run the assistant, and deliver our messages, solely so that we can respond to you. It is not analytics data, and we do not sell it. If you would rather not use the assistant, every page also carries our email address and a booking link.

How we use your information

To respond to your inquiries, provide and coordinate our services, send appointment and service communications you have requested, and improve our website and offerings. We do not sell your personal information.

SMS / text messaging privacy

If you opt in to receive text messages from IO Studio, we use your phone number solely to send the communications you consented to (such as appointment reminders, service notifications, and replies to your inquiries).

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in consent and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding messaging providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages.

Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run our business (such as hosting, scheduling, email, and messaging delivery providers), under obligations of confidentiality, or when required by law. We never share your information with third parties for their own marketing.

Data retention & security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing contact@io-studio.ai. To stop SMS messages, reply STOP to any message.
